Ensuring Quality Assurance for Complex Energy Transformation

An Australian energy provider was undertaking a major transformation program involving legacy system integration and a new end-to-end technology solution. With multiple delivery partners, inconsistent test practices, and unclear traceability between business requirements and testing, the organisation faced challenges in ensuring quality, meeting delivery timelines, and aligning stakeholders on test governance. There was a clear need for an experienced, hands-on partner to lead the Quality Assurance function, drive strategic testing oversight, and ensure confidence in the solution ahead of production cutover.

Tranzformd was engaged to lead the Quality Assurance and Test Management function, providing both strategy oversight and execution leadership. We reviewed and validated the Test Strategy, aligned it to the program’s goals, and ensured clear roles, scope, and acceptance criteria were defined. We managed the traceability of all functional and non-functional requirements through the RTM, ensuring they could be mapped against test cases. Our consultants embedded within the test and delivery teams to coordinate test planning, execution, and business acceptance across new and legacy systems.
