Driving Secure Change in Cyber Security Transformation

Australia’s largest diagnostic imaging provider launched a major Data Protection Program to strengthen cybersecurity in line with the Essential Eight Maturity Model. The rollout introduced new access controls, secure VDI, and revised workstation protocols — such as MFA — across hospitals and clinics. These changes posed significant challenges for staff, clinicians, and external partners, risking workflow disruption and resistance in high-pressure environments.

Tranzformd led targeted change impact assessments to identify risks and resistance across user groups. We designed a tailored communication and engagement plan focused on transparency, relevance, and trust-building, including persona-based messaging, workshops, and a Change Champion model to embed local advocacy and feedback.

Security controls were implemented with minimal disruption and strong stakeholder alignment. Clinicians, developers, and administrators felt informed and supported, reducing resistance in high-risk areas. The tools and approaches delivered by Tranzformd have since been embedded in future cybersecurity and digital uplift programs across the organisation — ensuring continued alignment between technical change and human experience.
