Building Stakeholder Alignment for Security Audit

A major Australian diagnostic imaging provider launched a Data Protection Program to strengthen identity and access controls across a complex IT environment. With over 200 systems and diverse ownership, the organisation faced challenges coordinating stakeholders, validating system data, and ensuring accountability for access policies amid increased cybersecurity risks.

Tranzformd’s Consultants led stakeholder engagement, coordinating workshops and direct outreach across internal teams and external partners. We developed structured stakeholder maps, standardised data collection templates, and maintained a central progress register — enabling effective communication and collaboration among 50+ stakeholders with varying priorities and technical expertise.

The program completed a comprehensive system audit on time with high-quality validated data. Stakeholder buy-in supported remediation activities and policy updates, while risks related to unclear ownership were escalated and resolved. The approach established a replicable model for engagement in future program phases.
